Home Community cafe is for everyone. You’ll find us in the entrance of Emmanuel Church, nicely nestled just behind the library on Barlow Moor Road. Why not pop in and try our delicious, freshly prepared food and cakes.
It is a registered charity run by volunteers, guided by an experienced manager and shift leaders. We benefit from the space at Emmanuel church even though we are a separate organisation. Our aim is to contribute every penny we make over and above the running costs of the cafe to local community activities.

We serve amazing food 10.00am – 5.00pm. It is all vegetarian and includes main dishes, snacks and cakes (many are suitable for vegans) in addition to a special menu for kids.
In addition to the main café we have a separate space – the ‘Living room’ which you can hire for your own Group to meet or a private event.
We offer the space free of charge to not for profit groups who aim to make the community stronger and bring people together.
You can also hire the room for special events and occasions. The kind of activities already flourishing in this space include local support groups, family groups and craft workshops.
